Glücksband is an independent, medium-sized family company with 40 employees based in Göppingen, Germany. The company’s near 200-year history began with narrow, non-elastic bands but today it’s main focus is the production and distribution of textile labels. For some 20 years now, Glücksband has seen success in the distribution of consumables for thermal transfer printers and label printers.

With its centre in the DACH-region (Germany, Austria & Switzerland), GLÜCKSBAND’s business connections have stretched far beyond the European market into the global one. Our raw and auxiliary materials as well as our trade goods come from all corners of the Earth and, once turned into labels and ribbons, they attract customers from across the world.

Glücksband has been synonymous with ribbon weaving in Göppingen since the foundation of its “wool and silk ribbon” factory back in 1824.
Experience
By the mid 1950s, we had already begun to produce other products
under the Glücksband name. Today, the production and distribution of textile print and woven labels are our two most lucrative fields of activity.

By constantly modernising our production facilities and using the latest technology, we have been able to remain competitive as “textilers” here in Germany. Equally, we have been able to react to current trends and meet the challenges faced by businesses in the global textile supply chain.
